Last week, I announced the new Pale Cremation album "Alta Stranezza" for a worldwide digital release of June 19th, 2026. There's been so great reception to it already so I'm very excited for people to hear the entire thing.

It's a journey to say the least. 

Starting off the album is the title track "Alta Stranezza" which is over 19 minutes long. A nod to Yes - 'Close To The Edge'. A whirlwind of sound ranging from metallic and progressive dirges, Electronica and New Wave music. A lot of the record was figuring how to bridge and fuse those genres much like I did with 'Communion'.

However, the key for me was, figuring how to properly implement New Wave and Post Punk music to a heavy metal progressive record. Can my listening habits as of recent work for what Pale Cremation is doing? Of course they can. Why not?

There were rumblings from that genre in past work since 'Communion', but it's a lot more in your face this time. I'm really, really trying to push those sounds on the listener. Maybe someone will come across it and be like "is this doom metal?" and will surely come out to find that it is much different than the genre Pale Cremation was rooted in; for better or for worse. 

I'm somewhat indifferent if people don't like my music or can't understand it. I'm more inclined to value the opinion of my Wife and my friends when it comes to my art. And while I do appreciate anyone who legitimately enjoys it, I'm also quite the fan of people not getting the music at all. It's not for everyone. Alta Stranezza is no exception. When you look at a Painting you either understand it or you don't. 

Story:

*This album follows an entity known as "The User" as he navigates strange, paranormal and psychic events throughout his life in a Human body. Throughout struggle and confusion he starts to realize the fragility of life on planet Earth and nuances of reality beyond physical existence.

The concept of the album will be revealed a little more once the album is released on Bandcamp. For now, here's some of the story behind 'Termination Of Bio-Spheric Extremity':

Pt.2 Endless Rays Of Benevolent Forms

*The Earth, also known as "Gaia" is a living sentient entity. As Humankind elevates its technological advancement in a way that does not benefit Life on this Planet, The Mother will activate an ancient Artificial Intelligence known as the "Gaia Defense Grid Authorization Option" which will reset Human Vessels to a way that benefits the continued well being of the Planet. All People, weapons and invasive energy practices will effectively be neutralized. The User sees this possible timeline through visions. However, this may become reality if Humankind does not choose wisely.

Pale Cremation - Communion (Soviet Tapes 1984) David Bowie once said "Musicians tend to want to talk about the process rather than what it means". I disagree a little bit. While my personal music making process is something I can go through on technical level; in regards to how I make it, what gear I use etc. But to me, that's just a process of going from point A to point B in regards to putting your art out into the "sphere of consciousness" if you will, i.e. 'The Public". Welcome back to The Doom Zone

  It's been awhile since I last posted on a blog. I figured I'd just bring it back for myself and anyone who is interested in my music and what not. I'm constantly releasing new music and listening to to new music, so this blog might be me writing about that for a bit. I think there's a lot of good, unique stuff that generally gets ignored by most. Maybe it's music or art that isn't constantly grasping at social validation. I think people more than ever are going to start looking for music, art, media etc. that's honest and inward. Mediums of entertainment that ignores everything else. Mostly ignoring our social media popularity contest paradigm. I'm going to post stuff on here that interests me. As well as talking about my music. Because if you know me and real life; there is nothing more I love talking about than my basement music. And cats. Peace.
